Artist Statement:
In the beginning…where it all began. Over a bakery with a skylight. No phone. Hot water. The École des Beaux Arts. Café's. Painting on location. Cold hands in winter. The ancient architecture. The cathedral down the street where I would listen to practices for Sunday service. Picking my own thyme. Birth of the Impressionists. Cezanne lived just up the street. Picasso…he was buried nearby. Bistro & Marché of the World was born.
