Artist Playdate

Come join exhibiting artist Julie Forrester Clark for an artist playdate!

Overview

Open to all skill levels, beginners are welcome and experienced artists are encouraged to come and engage in creative experimentation. Over two days, participants will focus on process, exploration, and play without any expectation of creating a finished painting and discovering what you like and don't like.

Session 1 No paint brushes allowed: In the first session participants will work both individually and collaboratively in a number of surface and mark making exercises with the goal being to loosen up and break out of habitual ways of working.

Session 2 Concertina Book: Participants will utilize all their favourite tools and techniques covered in Session 1 and create a Concertina book that highlights the marks, colours, tools, and textures that most resonated with them.

Materials: all materials are included in with registration fee at a value of ($20)
