In this workshop we will be exploring sculpture. We will look at examples from art history to develop masterpieces of our own!
Students can expect a fun and engaging online learning experience supported by group discussions and offline activities.
In the Zoom session, instructor Hannah Dobbie will demonstrate step-by-step projects with periodic progress checks and question and answer periods. Students will be muted for the lessons, but the last fifteen minutes of the session will be dedicated to questions.
When students register for the virtual program, they can pick up their supplementary package that includes information about sculpting techniques, an art history lesson, biographies of the featured artists, additional projects, activities and prompts.
Parents will not be required to stay online for the duration of each Zoom session. The projects will be designed to engage students independently, without any need for physical assistance. With that said, it will be up to the discretion of the parent to determine if direct supervision is required.
Please pick up your Sculpt kits at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre in person on Sunday February 7th 11am-4pm or Wednesday February 10th 8:30am-4pm
