Students can expect a fun and engaging online learning experience supported by group discussions and offline activities.
Instructor Ashley Keller will demonstrate step-by-step projects with periodic progress checks and question and answer periods. Students will be muted for the lessons, but the last fifteen minutes of the session will be dedicated to questions and an opportunity for students to share their work with their classmates.
Materials Kit will include all required art supplies and supplementary readings and activities (information about drawing techniques, an art history lesson, biographies of the featured artists, additional projects, activities and prompts).
Kits can be picked up from the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre on Sunday April 18 or Wednesday April 21, 2021, 11am-3pm.
Course will be confirmed by email a min. of two weeks prior to the start of the course. Confirmation will include dates for curbside pick up of materials kit from the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre.
Parents will not be required to stay online for the duration of each Zoom session. The projects will be designed to engage students independently, without any need for physical assistance. With that said, it will be up to the discretion of the parent to determine if direct supervision is required.
Students must have a Zoom account (this is FREE, but must be acquired ahead of the class).
This workshop will be recorded.
