AP-21-1 - Sketch & Watercolour Birds with Sandy - Beginner(limited artistic experience to early Intermediate)

Our 8 week course will include a few initial “how to” exercises on value (lights & darks), form, line, proportion, posture & shading in a few simple bird studies. Once we are a little more confident working on our inexpensive drawing paper, we will then move onto our watercolour paper and learn how to work with our paints to do very simple washes in order to add colour & interest to our drawings.

We will attempt a different bird each week and you will be gently guided step-by-step through the process.

No bird can fly without opening its wings. Be inspired to try something new this spring!

This is a live (not pre-taped) virtual course offered via ZOOM so you will have the added advantage of asking questions, communicating with others in the group as well as learning this new skill in the privacy of your own home! (sharing your images with others in the group is entirely optional)
High speed internet with ZOOM capabilities (video camera/ microphone) are necessary.
