Continuous Line Drawing: learn how to move your pencil like a magnet on a sketchbook. Using contour lines and a "fearless drawing" technique, you will be able to draw anything you see in front of you.
Playing with Materials: Let's mix up fun materials like highlighters, markers, whiteouts, and colour papers to make your drawing even more awesome. You will learn how to use common drawing mediums to create a piece of art.
In each class, we will see examples of drawings done live, and experiment with different styles and approaches together.
After class, feel free to go out anywhere to draw, especially with the nice weather during summer months.
Great artists always carried their sketchbook around and drew as they saw anything interesting. Let's create this drawing habit so we can all be the masters!
Materials kits are provided and can be picked up at the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre, on Wednesday May 26 & Saturday May 29, 2021 from 11am-3pm. You will also need to supply some materials from home, please check the materials list.
Zoom link & password will be sent by email a few days before the start of class.
