Christina Drummond is an abstract artist, who works mainly in acrylics with some mixed media. She enjoys bright bold colours and is well known for showing movement in her paintings which seems to come from her lifelong love of sports activities. She endeavours to include shapes of large and small sizes, often geometrically based with straight and curved lines. During Covid restrictions she undertook an intensive on line course to improve her work exploring many different facets of design and colour. It was very interactive with other artists throughout the world which gave large exposure to fresh ideas. From this base, a small group of about 10 Canadian artists was formed who interact together to support each other promoting new ways to look at abstract art.
