Painting is a freedom to express my experiments with colours and forms. I have no predetermined subject in mind when I begin, rather I let the colours guide me through the process.

Susan grew up in the small community of Merritton. In her early years, lessons were taken with Ed Telenko St Catharines Academy of Fine Arts, Raymond Martin and John Leonard at the Haliburton School of Arts. Since then she has branched out into abstract art.
