I have had the Niagara Pumphouse in view- at times literally, and often figuratively- since coming to the region in 2000.
For some years, I lived a few doors away and always appreciated the grounds of the Niagara Pumphouse- the accessibility, the shows, and the programs. It is a jewel, in my view.
Since retiring to St. Catharines, I have been offering book reviews to a variety of groups- some virtual, some in person. My academic background (I am a Professor Emeritus from York University) involved research into the value of narratives. This experience informs the material I prepare for each book discussion.
When not researching books, I enjoy Nia dancing, serving on the Board of Lifelong Learning Niagara and textile art.
