The Visual Arts Leader in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Niagara Region, and within a 100 km radius
To provide a place to learn and grow to enrich and inspire our community. To be inclusive, accessible, and respectful of all ideas. To support transformation, building identity and prosperity through the arts.

The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is the art hub that connects our community by providing “art for all”. Located along the Niagara River in a heritage building that formerly supplied water to Niagara-on-the-Lake (hence our name); the Arts Centre offers year-round visual arts programs, exhibitions and events.
The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre provides art classes, workshops and camps in a variety of media for all ages and skill levels taught by professional and emerging artists and educators. Our galleries feature solo and group exhibitions by contemporary artists from across Ontario. Special events celebrate art and artists.
Like many not-for-profits, the Arts Centre does not receive ongoing operational funding and relies on the support of donors, sponsors, grants, and a team of volunteers to sustain our programs and community impact. This support allows us to provide a number of free programs for vulnerable youth, seniors and families to appreciate and engage with art.

With a passion for the arts, our team is committed to ensuring art is accessible for all. Whatever stage you are at in your creative journey we welcome the opportunity to connect. Art appreciators, new artists, budding artists, experienced artists - Art for All is what we are all about. We are a not-for-profit, charitable organization that relies on the generosity of donors, sponsors, partners and members.

Do you need a space to host your next meeting, intimate gathering or private event?
Indoors or outdoors, we've got space for you! Indoors there is room for 30 to 150 (standing reception only). Outdoors provides the ideal space for your wedding or special event overlooking the Niagara River.

Niagara-on-the-Lake is located on the traditional territory of the Hatiwendaronk, Haudenosaunee, Anishinaabe, including the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. This territory is covered by the Upper Canada Treaties. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet here and we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land for thousands of years.
