I was taught to knit at the age of five. Working creatively with my hands has been an important part of my life ever since. My creative phases include knitting; crochet; sewing; needlepoint; embroidery; pottery and ceramics; spinning yarn; weaving; dyeing fibre and yarn and felting. I have been felting for a decade. I enjoy applying techniques from the various disciplines to each other. I am always exploring new ways of working and increasing the challenge of creating intricate and complex items.
