I am a retired farmer who started doing stained glass as a hobby 25 years ago. That led to this fused glass form of art. All my work starts out as sheets of coloured glass. I cut the glass with a hand held glass cutter and reassemble the pieces into my own designs. The glass then goes into a firebrick kiln where it is heated to as hot as 807 Degrees Celsius.
The pieces are then annealed at 500 degrees.
