You have waited a long time to get a sneak peek of the newly renovated studio, galleries, and public spaces. The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre invites you to the Reopening, Renovation Tour on August 2nd, 2020 from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.
To ensure safety for all, guests are asked to book a time for their visit by registering online or by calling the front desk at 905-468-5455*. Reservation to attend with a donation is appreciated.** Each registration ticket will also be entered for a door prize to win a gift basket consisting of 12 bottles of local wine. Drop-ins are welcome and will be provided access in accordance with Niagara Health's public gathering safety guidelines.
Event Highlights
- The Joyner Gallery will feature the exhibition, Communication in The Quantum Leap by artist, Beverley Barber. Ms. Barber is one of the Walker Industries Art Competition winners. Beverley will be available from 2:00-4:00 pm to talk about her work and creative process. Click here to learn more about the exhibition
- The lobby gallery will feature artwork by Niki Kingsmill, Ontario artist and host of the popular Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre's online watercolor workshop series.
- The walls of the Walker Room will be adorned with artwork by the Niagara Pumphouse members.
- The Children's Studio will have displays of some of the artwork created by our online, art students.
- The picturesque grounds will be open for a quick stroll or a short, relaxing break. Guests are welcome to bring blankets & picnic baskets to enjoy a light meal while savouring the scenery.
- Staff and volunteers will be on hand to talk to about the Niagara Pumphouse recent renovations as well as initiatives, programs, and events.
The proceeds for this important fundraiser will be used to support operating expenses during COVID-19.
The winner of the Door Prize for this Event is Nancy Figler. The Prize consists of 12 bottles of wine, which were generously donated by the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre Board Members.
