Registration: To register online for a program, you need to create an account or sign in. You can also register in-person or phone during our office/gallery hours.
Create an Account/Sign-inMember Discount: Members must Sign-In (top right of webpage) with email address and password to activate member pricing. Member discounts for children & youth programs are only eligible with an active Family Annual membership. Family Annual membership includes spouse/partner and dependent children under 18 from the same household.

Pre-registration is required a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of all programs.
Full payment must be made at time of registration. Accepted payment: credit card, debit card, cash or cheque (payable to 'The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre').
Drop-in classes do not require pre-registration.
Drop-In Life Drawing is for participants ages 18 years and older.
Classes require a minimum number of students to proceed. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be given one week's notice and a full refund.
There is NO REFUND on classes the student cancels less than 14 days prior to the start of the class.
A $20 administration fee will be charged to students for any cancellations prior to 14 days.
There are no discounts, credits or refunds for classes not attended by the student
The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is the art hub of the community providing Art for All.
We are a safe space for all - an environment free of harassment and discrimination that is supportive of the dignity and worth of every individual.
The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre has zero tolerance for violence of any kind and will be proactive in the prevention of violence and harassment. Every reasonable measure will be taken to prevent abusive behaviors.
Any person who inflicts physical or verbal harm onto another person will be expelled from the class immediately and remain suspended until contacted by the program instructor.
To ensure the health and safety of all students, instructors and staff, we are following Niagara Region's Public Health advice for the community to stay home if you are sick.
If a child develops any symptoms of illness during the day, you will be notified and required to pick up your child. If the primary contacts are not available, your emergency contact(s) will be notified
Child/Your program Instructors are certified in first aid, CPR and AED training, and have passed a police background check and vulnerable sector check.
Pets may not be brought into classes and workshops, the exception being Service Animals. Pets may be brought into other areas of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre at the discretion of staff.
Staff have the ABSOLUTE discretion to ask any pet owner to remove their pet from the premises, for any reason of their choice, (possibilities include: members or staff who are allergic, pets who are poorly trained or where the owner cannot control their pet)
Student Access to Virtual (Live) Class/Workshop Recordings: Virtual (Live) program registration does not include access to class recordings.Virtual (Live) programs are designed with ongoing Instructor interaction and feedback.
Access to recordings is only permitted at the discretion of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre.
Setting up your work space
- Your work space should have access to an electrical outlet for your device
- Set your device away from your work top to avoid any splatters or spills
- Use table coverings and/or drop cloths to protect your surfaces
- Wear an apron, smock, or clothes that can get messy
All students are recommended to bring an apron or smock. Dress appropriately for an art class in comfortable clothing that can get messy. Fine jewellery and clothing are best left at home.
Adult class & workshop fees do not include materials unless otherwise stated. Details regarding additional material fees and/or a materials list will be provided.
When a materials list is provided, students are required to provide their own materials.
It is recommended not to purchase supplies until you have gotten confirmation from our office or the instructor that the class is proceeding.
Students are required to use odourless solvents.
Show your membership card and receive discounts with our partners.
Additional materials kits are available for some classes & workshops and fees are payable to the instructor in cash on the first day of class.
Children & Youth class fees include materials.
