Program Registration

Pre-registration is required a minimum of 14 days prior to the start of all programs.

Full payment must be made at time of registration.

Online registration & member pricing activation: Members must Sign-In (top right of webpage) with email address and password to activate member pricing. To set up your member sign-in details or have forgotten your password, click on Forgot your password or first time logging in? If you are still having trouble, please go to your Internet browser settings and enable cookies.

You can also register in person or phone during office hours.

Accepted payment: credit card, debit card, cash or cheque (payable to 'The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre').

Drop-in classes (excluding Yoga programs) do not require pre-registration.

Materials

All students are recommended to bring an apron or smock. Dress appropriately for an art class in comfortable clothing that can get messy. Fine jewellery and clothing are best left at home.

Adult class & workshop fees do not include materials unless otherwise stated. Details regarding additional material fees and/or a materials list will be provided.

When a materials list is provided, students are required to provide their own materials.

It is recommended not to purchase supplies until you have gotten confirmation from our office or the instructor that the class is proceeding.

Students are required to use odourless solvents.

Show your membership card and receive discounts with our partners.

Additional materials kits are available for some classes & workshops and fees are payable to the instructor in cash on the first day of class.

Children & Youth class fees include materials.

In-Studio Health and Safety Policies - Adult Programs

Proof of vaccination no longer required & masks are not required when physical distancing can be maintained. Self-screening and physical distancing are encouraged. (effective July 1, 2022)

Students are required to self-screen prior to every class. Please stay home if you are ill, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have had recent close contact with someone who has tested positive

In-Studio Health and Safety Policies - Child & Youth Programs

Proof of vaccination no longer required & masks are not required when physical distancing can be maintained. (effective July 1, 2022)

Hand hygiene, cleaning, and sanitization of equipment and high-touch areas will be ongoing and frequent throughout the daily routines

Instructors are certified in first aid, CPR and AED training, and have passed a police background check and vulnerable sector check. All Pumphouse staff are fully vaccinated

Parents/guardians are required to complete an online daily screening for their child

If the required daily health screening is not completed prior to drop off, children will not be permitted to enter the premises until the questionnaire is completed

Children should be kept at home if they or anyone in the home is experiencing symptoms of illness or COVID-19. It's advised they return ONLY if they or the family member has been cleared by a medical professional or the ill member produces a negative COVID-19 test

If any COVID-19 symptoms are noted during the daily health screening, the child will not be permitted access.

If any COVID-19 symptoms develop during the day, you will be notified and required to pick up your child. If the primary contacts are not available, your emergency contact(s) will be notified

Virtual Program Policies & FAQ

Student Access to Virtual (Live) Class/Workshop Recordings: Virtual (Live) program registration does not include access to class recordings.Virtual (Live) programs are designed with ongoing Instructor interaction and feedback.

Access to recordings is only permitted at the discretion of the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre.

Setting up your work space
- Your work space should have access to an electrical outlet for your device
- Set your device away from your work top to avoid any splatters or spills
- Use table coverings and/or drop cloths to protect your surfaces
- Wear an apron, smock, or clothes that can get messy

Cancellations & Refunds

Classes require a minimum number of students to proceed. If a course is cancelled, registrants will be given one week's notice and a full refund.

There is NO REFUND on classes the student cancels less than 14 days prior to the start of the class.

A $20 administration fee will be charged to students for any cancellations prior to 14 days.

There are no discounts, credits or refunds for classes not attended by the student
