Overview
This one-day workshop will cover creating beautiful designs on mulberry papers using wax resist batik. Patterns will be created using handmade stamps or brushes provided by the instructor. The day will start with a demo, following which students will create their own designs. Topics covered include using various tools with wax, creating your own stamp, blending colour washes, the use of additional media, framing options, and information on materials. This workshop includes the use of hot wax and an iron.
Materials: all materials are included in registration fee.
