Alan has favoured the watercolour medium to interpret the unique phenomena of nature for over twenty years.

His artwork expresses his reflection of many scenes from Newfoundland to British Columbia. He is an avid fly fisherman, and his paintings are a result of exploring the back roads of our nation, and particularly during his many travels through Western Canada in his Volkswagen Westphalia camper van.

Alan has participated in numerous studio tours over the years including dual gallery exhibitions shared with other artists offering alternative media.
