Having always had a keen interest in art in its many manifestations, and recently retired, I now embrace the opportunity to regain some space and time for this artistic passion.
The selection of subject matter captures an emotion within of personal expression enhanced in the final painting. So I look forward to capturing or creating something distinctive with every piece of work.
Being part of many local art associations and participating in juried shows has allowed me to discover new mediums and techniques, and ultimately, develop my sensitivity towards colour. I mainly work in Acrylic, but also use oils, pastels and watercolour.
