Marc Barrie was born in Toronto in 1962 and grew up in rural Ontario. His interest in art came early in public school and was encouraged by his parents and teachers. A self-taught artist, his works are prized by buyers, investors, and art-lovers alike.

Among the outstanding features of his work are his use of vibrant and rich colours, and his attention to detail. Observation and study of nature and wildlife are integral parts of his life and his art. Marc's drawings, painting, and limited edition prints are in collections in Canada, the U.S., and in over 18 countries around the world.
