Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in our communities.
This year, Niagara is part of the Provincial Festival Hub program, celebrating local centres of cultural exchange and creativity. To mark the occasion, the Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre will host a community flag raising on September 27 at 10:30 am, highlighting the marquee weekend of Culture Days in Niagara. The public is warmly invited to join and take part in this community celebration.
From in-studio exhibitions in our galleries to striking outdoor installations, we invite you to explore, savour, and enjoy the incredible art on display. Extend your experience through our Public Art Self-Guided Tour, highlighting artworks presented by Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre throughout Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Throughout Culture Days, enjoy a variety of art workshops designed to spark creativity and inspire exploration of different mediums. Open to all—by donation or pay-what-you-can, with some requiring pre-registration and others welcoming drop-ins.
