Overview

This lecture will examine how Cubism represented a radical turning point in the history of art and the Cubists experimentation of form taken from Cezanne. The Cubists rejection of naturalism towards an abstraction or and break down and rearrangement of the forms in front of them created a new way of seeing and understanding of art creation.

The Second lecture will examine the Fauvist artists exploration of colour as the dominant
element to s composing the subject.
