Overview
Classical Portrait Painting involves capturing a likeness of a live model in four stages: drawing/ planning/ underpainting -grisaille/ Colour mixing/ Final Glazes. Each week will concentrate on development of these four stages.
By the end of this course, participants will learn the proportions of the face/ working with oil blending techniques/ completing a portrait likeness.
Pre-requisites: basic drawing skills
Materials: all materials all supplied at a value of $45 included in registration fee.

Instructor - George Doros
George Doros is a Niagara resident, graduate of Ontario College of Art, Guelph University, and Brock University. He is a Visual Arts Educator /Consultant, Workshop Presenter, and Oil Portrait Painter, and studied with New York portrait artist Daniel Greene.
