Overview
In a continuation of the January series, these lectures will examine the development of the early Greek culture to its great civilization. We will examine works of architecture, sculpture and painting from the Classical and Hellenistic periods in mainland Greece. We will examine the stylistic and technological changes in order to better understand the works and ideologies behind them.
