Introduction to Contemporary Embroidery for Beginners

Learn all about the meditative art of embroidery!

Overview

This 4 week class will take participants through all the basics! Starting with preparing fabric and materials, each week participants will learn new stitches to add to a sampler along with incorporating other techniques such as couching, beading and cross stitch.

Participants will then take these foundational skills and learn to apply them to a more complex image with an embroidery study. Complete the class with a helpful stitch sampler and beautiful needlepainted embroidery.

Pre-requisites: none
Materials: all materials will be provided at a $20 value included in the registration fee.
