This class is geared towards those who love their gardens and have always wanted to learn how to draw and watercolour flowers. This class will use "Flower Painter's Pocket Palette" by Elisabeth Harden as a guiding textbook.
The first portion of each class will involve a few fundamental lessons on value, form, drawing, line, colour, and basic watercolour exercises for those new to the medium. The second portion of each class will work on a bloom, step-by-step under the guidance of your instructor via overhead camera and using your textbook as an important visual reference. This class is done at a very relaxed pace with the opportunity to ask questions as we progress. Notes and homework challenges will be given each week which are optional but recommended.
Prerequisite: A previous introductory course in drawing or watercolour painting is helpful but not necessary.
Required textbook: "Flower Painter's Pocket Palette" by Elisabeth Harden*
