Overview

This one-day workshop will help you to become more comfortable using palette knife. It will help you to become more expressive and carefree with your painting which will bring freshness to your work as you add another dimension to your oil painting repertoire. Participants will receive step by step guidance with a lot of individual attention.
Pre-requisites: some painting experience required.

-2 palette knives (3 cm and 4.5 cm long diamond shape blades)
-16 x 16" or 18 x 18" stretched canvas, canvas panel, canvas board, or gessoed board
-palette
-sketchbook
-pencil
-eraser
-paper towels
-baby wipes
-trash bag
-apron
-Colours
-titanium white
-cool and warm cadmium yellow
-yellow ochre
-cadmium orange
-red (permanent rose, cadmium red, or alizarin crimson)
-burnt sienna
-ultramarine blue
-cerulean blue
-turquoise green (or viridian green)
-purple or violet
-*note: bring big tubes as we will use a lot of paint, especially white and ultramarine blue.
