Saturday Nov 15, 2025 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Sunday Nov 16, 2025 11:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Focus on the dramatic presence of light and colour and gain and understanding of composition. France in late summer is a glorious time for expressing colour and light which will be included in our inspiration. An incorporation of these will be explored in street scenes, and landscapes in France, which will be our inspiration. Colour mixing, and Bonnie's exciting use of colour will be demonstrated for students. Atmospheric and linear perspective will be emphasized and taught. Bonnie's hands-on approach and demonstrations will inspire passion and result in luminous paintings.
By the end of this course, you will be able to demonstrate and identify different colour characteristics, will be skilled in your understanding of colour perspective, and will be able to effectively interpret colour to create mood in a seasonal painting.
Pre-requisites: Some previous watercolour painting experience required.
Please note that there will be a thirty minute break for lunch each day. Participants are to bring their own packed lunch as the Pumphouse is not within walking distance to any food outlets.
