Overview

Step by step instructions will help you troubleshoot and practice your techiniques covering composition, choosing the right colour palette and getting your values right. Take your work to the next level and create lively and sparkling effects.

Pre-requisites
-knowledge of basic watercolour skills
-wet into wet, wet into dry
-glazing

Materials List

-1 sheet 22 x 30" cold press Arches paper
-board to attach your paper on approx. 20 x 12"

-Tube WC paints
Cobalt blue,
Raw Sienna,
Lemon Yellow,
Cadmium yellow,
Raw umber,
Cadmium red,
Alizarin red

-large hake brush 2", #12, 10, 8, 4 or 5 and #2 round (and one rough brush for adding resist)

-large mixing palette, or more!

-two large water containers

-HB pencil, pencil sharpener, kneaded eraser, fine metal tip RED pen, ruler, tape (scotch tape and painters or masking tape 1" wide)

-transfer paper (as used for sewing)

-grayscale

-cotton cloths, toliet paper/paper towels to wipe up drips, excess water etc.

-notebook, pen
