Overview

Explore the tactile and expressive world of printmaking in this hands-on class designed for beginners. Students will be introduced to fundamental techniques such as monoprinting and linocut, while learning to design, carve, and print their own creative works. The class encourages playful experimentation with texture, layering, and color to produce a small, personalized print series.

Over three sessions, participants will gain confidence in their artistic voice through guided demonstrations, individual exploration, and group sharing.

Walk-Away Product: A series of original prints exploring design, texture, and color, suitable for framing, gifting, or personal display.

We thank the Government of Canada's New Horizons for Seniors Program funding for making our THRIVE programs no charge for participants aged 50 and older.
