This drawing class focuses on furthering the fundamental drawing skills established in the prior sessions to establish an understanding of advanced spatial drawing techniques.
Session 1: Introduction to three-point perspective and how to apply it to complex compositions (e.g., skyscrapers, or towering structures). Begin sketching a dramatic, high-angle or low-angle scene.
Session 2: Explore atmospheric perspective to show depth in landscapes or cityscapes. Work on adding distant and close-up elements, adjusting detail and contrast.
Session 3: Combine techniques from previous sessions into a final piece, either a landscape or a cityscape, focusing on dynamic perspective and atmospheric effects.
Prerequisite: NHFS: Introduction to One-Point Perspective Drawing (AW-25-06), Intro to Drawing: Two Point Perspective, or prior drawing experience.
Materials: all materials are included in registration fee.
