Overview
Explore the unique properties of the acrylic medium, specifically to layer paints with this fast drying medium. Especially useful for those switching to acrylic from other mediums such as oil or watercolour.
By the end of this course, you will be more comfortable with the acrylic medium, have learnt about the different applications of acrylic paints and mediums, and will have created a finished work that uses the techniques discussed.
Pre-requisites: Expectation that participants have a basic understanding of the medium.

-2 small canvases (8 x 10, 12 x 12, 11 x 14)
-Assortment of brushes in small and medium sizes
-Acrylic paints:
-titanium white
-magenta or red
-cadmium yellow light or medium
-phthalo/ultramarine/cobalt blue
-any other colours you'd like to bring
-Palette/palette paper
-Disposable cloths or rags
-Water container
-Palette knife
