Students will be introduced to basic artistic principles and drawing techniques each week through projects such as blind contour drawing, rendering still life, and plein-air practice. A built in materials fee of $10 includes a sketchbook, set of pencils, and eraser for each student. Material exploration is encouraged; participants may bring drawing media of their own choosing, and a selection of unique materials will be provided.
By the end of this course, you will have a basic understanding of fundamental artistic principles such as scale, perspective, and figuration.

Materials: all materials will be provided at a value of $10 included in your registration fee.

Aidan is a visual artist from Niagara Falls. After graduating from Brock University's Studio Art program, Aidan continues to work as a professional artist independently. Aidan's preferred media are drawing, non-traditional photography, and ceramics.
