Humans have been making art for tens of thousands of years. We have done this for many reasons with whatever technology and materials we find at our disposal at the time. In this lecture, we will explore some of the earliest artworks created and the possible motivations and meanings behind them as well as the significant impact of the transition from hunter gatherer to agriculture as expressed in painting, sculpture
and architecture.
Please note, this lecture series will take place in-studio.
