In this workshop, you will learn to form and shape stoneware clay, using various techniques such as hand-building, wheel-throwing, and carving (kurinuki). The course culminates with making and glazing of mugs, cups, and/or bowls.

Instructor Debbie Whitehouse will introduce students to the techniques of creating functional and beautiful pottery pieces. Students will be guided through the process of making a bowl and mug, and learn ways to decorate their pieces by creating different textures, and glaze their work. Pieces will be fired in our on-site kiln and available for pickup at a later date.
Program fee includes a $20 Materials & Firing fee.
In-Studio Capacity will be limited to 8 participants.
